Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Corporation is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to serve as the primary liaison for end-to-end processes across multiple Commercial product lines including ETRM, MPR, OM, EPSF, and PAA. You will collaborate with business leaders, SMEs, and delivery teams to define requirements, build business cases, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field; equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platforms such as RightAngle or similar.
• Experience providing production support and continuous improvement for commercial applications.
• Experience partnering with MSPs and cross-functional tech teams to troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing administration and support for Commercial application product lines; partner with AMS and tech teams to resolve issues and improve services.
• Lead improvement recommendations and present to senior/executive management and global teams.
• Lead client meetings with business and development teams and communicate cross-functional processes to meet client requirements.
• Recommend system alternatives and enhancements for current systems.
• Collaborate with business teams to measure performance and drive planning.
• Lead cost-benefit and ROI analyses to aid management decisions.
• Mentor colleagues and enhance ITSM discipline capabilities.
• Lead cross-functional testing strategy and ensure stakeholder communication.
• Plan and document user stories and gather feedback for tech improvements.
