Job summary

Marathon Petroleum seeks a skilled Business Systems Analyst to act as the primary liaison for end-to-end processes across multiple Commercial product lines, including ETRM, MPR, OM, EPSF, and PAA. You will partner with business leaders, SMEs, and tech teams to define requirements, build business cases, and drive value-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5+ years of relevant Business Systems Analyst experience.
• Experience with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platforms preferred.
• Experience providing production support and continuous improvement for commercial apps preferred.
• Experience partnering with vendors and cross-functional technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison for end-to-end processes across multiple Commercial product lines (ETRM, MPR, OM, EPSF, PAA).
• Collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams to define and validate requirements and business cases.
• drive process improvements and organizational change readiness.
• Lead cross-functional testing strategies and coordinate user story development and reviews.
• Provide cost-benefit analyses and ROI guidance for proposed systems.
• Mentor teammates and support ITSM initiatives across the team.
