Ideal candidates bring a decade-plus of surety underwriting experience, including leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 10–15 years of surety underwriting experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Completion of or ongoing progress toward a professional designation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Financial Products Underwriting operations and improve workflow efficiency.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the Production Underwriting team.
• Assess underwritten risk quality and volume and report key insights.
• Leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive growth.
• Guide policy renewals and modifications, recommending improvements and risk mitigations.
• Ensure exceptional customer service through monitoring reports and improvements.
