Job summary

ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee Nashville-area job sites, coordinating field teams and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and strong client relations.

You will manage project schedules, read plans, and collaborate with subs and vendors across TI and ground-up commercial work. A college degree is preferred but not required, with DOT-style travel limited to the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with on-site supervision of commercial construction.
• Ground-up commercial experience preferred for projects $1–3M.
• Tenant Improvement and Interiors experience required.
• College degree preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Direct workflow of ongoing projects in line with schedule and budget.
• Coordinate priorities with subcontractors and vendors.
• Identify and solve schedule issues to maintain timelines.
• Ensure workmanship meets plans and specs.
• Create and manage project schedules and supervise punch-out.
• Read and interpret building plans accurately.
• Foster positive relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Promote and enforce job-site safety.
• Travel within region may be required.
• Manage projects ranging from TI to ground-up in various commercial sectors.
