Job summary

Loxo is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to supervise daily field operations in Nashville, TN. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage site logistics, and ensure safety, schedule, and quality across restaurant, hospitality, and retail projects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in commercial construction, experience with ground-up or tenant improvements, and a proven ability to lead teams while keeping projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience with ground-up construction, tenant improvements, or both.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Restaurant construction experience a plus.
• Strong subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality control, and field leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
• Coordinate subcontractors and vendors, manage site logistics, and maintain project schedules.
• Review plans and specifications, conduct site meetings, monitor quality and safety, and resolve field issues.
• Communicate closely with the Project Manager and project team throughout construction.
• Projects typically range around $3M-$4M, with larger projects reaching approximately $10M.
• Keep work localized to the Nashville market and contribute to diverse commercial projects (restaurant, hospitality, retail).

This position offers local work throughout the Nashville area with a contractor that handles a diverse mix of commercial projects, including restaurant, hospitality, retail, and other specialty construction.

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience
• Experience with either ground-up construction, tenant improvements/interiors, or a combination of both
• Experience managing projects from start through completion
• Restaurant construction experience is a plus
• Strong subcontractor coordination, scheduling, quality control, and field leadership skills
