Job summary

Connectly Recruiting seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent to coordinate Nashville jobsite operations and supervise field personnel to complete projects on schedule and within budget while promoting safety. The role spans TI and ground-up work across commercial retail, medical-office, restaurant, and mixed-use projects in the Nashville area and beyond.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of on-site supervision, with ground-up and TI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of on-site supervision of commercial construction.
• Ground-up commercial experience preferred for projects around $1–3M.
• Tenant Improvement and interiors experience required.
• College degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct workflow of ongoing projects aligned with schedule and budget.
• Communicate project priorities to subcontractors.
• Identify and solve issues to maintain schedule.
• Ensure quality workmanship per plans and specs.
• Create and manage project schedules.
• Supervise final punch-out.
• Read and interpret building plans.
• Build relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers.
• Promote job site safety.
• Travel within region as needed.
• Manage projects from TI to ground-up, $500k–$15M.
• Handle diverse retail, medical-office, restaurant, and mixed-use scopes.
