Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent to coordinate Nashville jobsite operations and directly supervise field personnel to complete projects on schedule and within budget. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and strong client coordination.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of on-site supervision in commercial construction, including ground-up or TI work. A college degree is preferred but not required; travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with on-site supervision of commercial construction.
• Ground-up commercial experience is preferred for larger projects ($1–3M).
• Tenant Improvement and Interiors experience required.
• College degree preferred but not mandatory.
• Reliable transportation preferred (truck provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Direct the workflow in alignment with project schedules and budgets.
• Communicate project priorities to subcontractors and vendors.
• Identify and solve issues to maintain schedule integrity.
• Ensure workmanship meets approved plans and specifications.
• Create and manage detailed job schedules.
• Supervise final punch-out and closeout activities.
• Read and interpret building plans accurately.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Promote and enforce site safety practices throughout the project.
• Travel within region may be required as needed.
