ExcelliSearch, Inc. in Nashville seeks a Commercial Construction Superintendent responsible for coordinating jobsite operations and supervising field personnel to complete projects on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and proactive problem-solving. You'll partner with the Project Manager, communicate priorities to subs, read building plans, manage schedules, and build strong client relationships while traveling regionally as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of on-site supervision of commercial construction.
• Ground-up commercial experience preferred on $1-3M projects.
• Tenant Improvement and Interiors experience required.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation preferred (truck provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Direct the workflow of ongoing projects to meet schedule and budget.
• Communicate project priorities to subcontractors.
• Identify and solve problems to maintain schedule.
• Ensure quality workmanship and conformance to plans.
• Create and manage job schedules.
• Supervise final punch-out.
• Read and interpret building plans.
• Build positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers.
• Promote and implement job site safety.
• Travel within region as needed.
• Project size ranges from $500k-1M to $1-15M.
• Types include ground-up and fit-out for retail, medical-office, restaurant, etc.
