Job summary

Talkdesk is seeking an experienced Manager, Solutions Engineering - Commercial to lead and grow a high-performing SE team in the Commercial vertical. This is a pre-sales leadership role focused on business storytelling, executive presence, and customer-facing technical consulting.

You will coach SEs to drive value conversations, design solution demonstrations, and craft architectures that integrate Talkdesk solutions with customer environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience leading Sales Engineering teams in a sales leadership context.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial accounts and the associated buying processes.
• Executive presence with a coaching mentality to grow and motivate teams.
• Willingness to obtain AI certification and apply AI concepts in presales contexts.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Solution Engineering team to drive go-to-market strategies and customer-facing activities.
• Partner with Sales, Product and Partner teams to accelerate adoption and revenue growth.
• Coach SEs to deliver value-driven conversations and compelling demonstrations.
• Grow and develop the SE organization, setting visionary goals and improving processes.
