Job summary

Johnson Controls Security is seeking a Commercial Sales Account Executive in Kent, WA to drive new business and expand existing commercial accounts within an assigned territory. You will promote security services and technology, manage a strong pipeline, build executive relationships, and close renewals.

This role offers a competitive salary range of $64,100-$96,000 plus incentives and benefits. You will collaborate with internal partners and leverage Centers of Influence to grow opportunities

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to present to senior-level executives.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Available for local travel.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Create new market share by developing local commercial customers and closing new business.
• Expand existing accounts through add-ons, amendments, conversions, upgrades, and renewals.
• Identify and pursue resale opportunities while maintaining productive relationships with current customers.
• Use creative lead-generating techniques to identify prospects and build a strong pipeline.
• Establish call plans, follow-up strategies, and effective territory management practices.
• Obtain referrals and work with Centers of Influence to support business development.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the full product line, services, customer issues, and needs.
• Process work orders and complete required paperwork in accordance with approved procedures.
• Conduct post-installation follow-up to confirm commitments were met and customer satisfaction remains strong.
