Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Commercial Security Sales Manager to lead a field sales team focused on customer value, revenue growth, profitability, and long-term relationships across a designated territory.

You will build, coach, and retain a high-performing team of sales representatives while driving territory performance and aligning with corporate sales and marketing initiatives. Travel nights/weekends are required and a successful track record in B2B security sales is preferred.

Qualifications

• College degree in Business, Marketing, or another related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, including 3 years of field sales management experience in a B2B environment, or successful management of another sales channel.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix structure and manage cross-functional teams.
• Experience using a CRM tool such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial security sales team and set performance standards.
• Build and retain a productive team of sales representatives to meet revenue goals.
• Drive business development, customer development, and territory management.
• Own profitability, RPU growth, and retention of customers and sales staff.
• Plan and implement sales operations across the territory.
• Collaborate with National Account Managers to secure National Account business.
