Job summary

Orkin is seeking an Account Manager to join its Commercial sales team in Massachusetts. You will understand Orkin’s products and services, sell them to diverse industries, and build trusted relationships while protecting customer sites from pests.

You’ll drive new business through prospecting, leverage marketing tools, and conduct inspections of commercial properties to tailor effective pest management solutions. A company vehicle and training support the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with our great clients.

Responsibilities

• Understand Orkin’s products and services and how to sell them to a variety of industries.
• Make strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to help prevent pests and satisfy regulatory standards.
• Solve problems and build trusted relationships as an essential partner protecting their business.
• Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
• Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
• Conduct an inspection of the interior and exterior of the customer’s commercial property and present findings.
• Use the iPad provided to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.
