Job summary

Tecta America Carolinas in Indian Trail, NC, is seeking a Commercial Roofing Service Sales Representative to drive business development for preventive maintenance service contracts. You will sell to new and existing clients and schedule sales appointments from self-generated leads.

In a B2B setting, you will cover an assigned territory and build a portfolio of accounts through prospecting and referrals, developing client relationships over a long sales cycle and working with the Service Manager

Qualifications

• 3–5 years sales experience in roofing, construction or related field.
• Proven ability to close business and qualify leads.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 80% locally.
• Experience with Sandler training is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prospect via cold calls, emails, door-to-door calls, networking and referrals.
• Set sales appointments with key decision makers at prospective client companies.
• Establish rapport and develop long-term business relationships with clients over an extended sales cycle.
• Present clients with the most appropriate solutions.
• Assemble proposals and reports for clients.
• Submit all contacts and documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain all sales activity in the Tecta CRM program.
• Follow up with clients on referrals.
• Coordinate with service manager to close deals and grow revenue.
• Manage the service projects won through your efforts.
