Job summary

Tecta America Carolinas is seeking a Superintendent, Commercial Roofing for our Indian Trails, NC location. You will coordinate field and administrative efforts, supervise Crew Leaders, and ensure jobs stay on schedule and within budget.

You will collaborate with the Project Manager, read blueprints, supervise safety, train staff, and maintain communications with GCs, Owners, and managers. A high school diploma and 8–10 years of roofing experience are required; valid driver's license and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 8–10 years related experience.
• 5+ years of commercial roofing experience.
• Ability to read and analyze blueprints, general business documents, and technical procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s license and clean MVR.
• Willingness to pass background check and drug test.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and jobs.
• Attend and participate in Pre-construction meetings.
• Read and understand field plans and specifications to plan work within schedules and budgets.
• Establish communication with external and internal customers (GCs, Owners, PMs, etc.).
• Instructs on roofing production best practices and participate in training.
• Train employees on safety procedures and equipment.
• Teach roofing terminology and proper use of tools.
• Plan and participate in education programs for new hires and roof technicians.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and retain field personnel.
• Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
