Job summary

Ascend Talent Solutions is seeking a Commercial Property Manager for a multi-tenant building in Northern California. The role emphasizes financial management, reporting, and collaboration with the accounting team and ownership.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of CRE experience, an active California Real Estate License, and ideally RPA/CPM designations. Strong leadership and proficiency with Yardi, MRI, Timberline and Building Engines are required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial real estate experience with increasing responsibilities.
• California Real Estate License and RPA or CPM designations.
• Strong knowledge of finance and building operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; experience with Yardi, MRI, Timberline, Building Engines.

Responsibilities

• Exercise functional responsibility for property management, liaising between tenants and owners.
• Develop annual property budgets and year-end expense reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly reports including accruals, variances and stacking plans.
• Coordinate contract compliance and financial reporting with owners and accounting.
• Manage tenant and capital improvements within budget and schedule.
• Oversee lease administration, collections and default proceedings.
• Lead property management staff including hiring and performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with PM policies, codes and directives.
• Develop and implement annual inspection processes for properties.
