Job summary

Ascend Talent Solutions is seeking a Property Manager for a Class A portfolio in California. The role focuses on financial management, reporting, and tenant relations to drive property performance and retention.

You will lead a property management team, develop budgets, produce monthly financials, and oversee lease administration and vendor coordination. A license and designations are preferred; strong Excel and CRE software skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial real estate experience with increasing responsibilities.
• California Real Estate License and RPA or CPM designations.
• Strong knowledge of finance and building operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, Yardi, MRI, Timberline, Building Engines.
• Professional and exceptional leadership, problem solving, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Exercise functional responsibility for property management business acting as liaison between tenants and property owners.
• Develop annual property budgets and reporting on year-end expense reconciliations.
• Preparation of monthly reports including accruals, variance reports and stacking plan.
• Liaison with owners and accounting team to ensure contract compliance, including accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Manage and coordinate tenant and capital improvements to ensure timely and proper completion of all work within budget.
• Manage certificates of insurance for tenants and vendors.
• Responsible for all lease administration duties, monitor collections and coordinate default proceedings.
• Accurately maintain all property leases in lease administration software.
• Management of property management staff including hiring and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with Property Management policies and procedures, codes, regulations, and governmental directives.
• Develop annual inspection processes and conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections.
