Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support CPP-led sales and coordinate commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatch.

The role includes maintaining store parts areas, handling backroom operations, and assisting with inventory and new arrivals to boost sales. The candidate will engage customers, perform outbound touchpoints, and upsell or cross-sell products while ensuring vehicle readiness and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Support CPP-led commercial sales and assist with dispatching/coordination of commercial deliveries.
• Lead store parts department organization, backroom, and delivery areas.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and basic account touchpoints with customers.
• Engage walk-in customers and upsell/cross-sell parts or services.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to aid sales.
