Job summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Harlingen, TX seeks an Operations Manager to lead the Commercial Operations Department, overseeing installation and service teams in the Harlingen metropolitan area.

Prior experience managing service/installation teams handling mechanical/electrical products is preferred. The role focuses on optimizing processes, achieving budgeted sales and gross profit, and developing staff through coaching and reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum 2 years' performance as Department Manager, Operations Manager and/or Project Manager in the Service Provider industry with familiarity and knowledge of construction project management and installation of building materials.
• Experience managing a service or installation team responsible for servicing or installing mechanical and/or electrical products and/or equipment.
• Experience conducting meetings, hiring, training, developing and conducting annual performance reviews; ability to coach and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee commercial operations and personnel to operate safely, profitably and efficiently.
• Manage and improve operational processes to maximize profit and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure jobs are scheduled timely and performed to meet budgeted sales and gross profit goals.
• Coordinate budgets and sales goals to stay on track monthly.
• Deliver profit dollars and return on sales that meet or exceed annual budget/forecast.
• Set objectives and action plans aligned with corporate goals.
• Hire, train and develop new employees and conduct performance reviews.
• Lead meetings, set expectations and hold staff accountable.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and identify new sales opportunities.
