DH Pace Company, Inc. in Austin, Texas seeks an Operations Manager with proven experience in commercial door systems to lead all aspects of operations for customer construction projects.

You will manage teams, improve performance, and drive project success while maintaining high customer satisfaction and profitability. A technical background in mechanical/electrical systems and construction project management is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred with experience as Department Manager/Operations Manager/Project Manager in service provider construction industries.
• Strong ability to manage technical applications, mechanical/electrical systems, and solve problems.
• Experience conducting meetings, hiring, training, and performing annual reviews.
• Hands-on environment with deadlines and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial operations and personnel to operate safely, efficiently, and profitably.
• Improve processes to maximize profit while ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Schedule and oversee execution of sold jobs to meet budgeted sales and gross profit targets.
• Align operating budgets with monthly sales goals and forecasts.
• Deliver profit dollars and ROI that meet or exceed annual budgets/forecasts.
• Set objectives and action plans in line with corporate goals.
• Hire, train and develop staff; coach performance and conduct reviews.
• Lead meetings, set expectations, and hold staff accountable.
• Directly communicate with customers to gather feedback and identify sales opportunities.
