Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a Project Coordinator for Commercial Millwork in Wylie, TX. This entry-level, contract-to-hire position focuses on documentation, logistics, and scheduling within the project management team and production shop.

Standard hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday to Friday, with a pay of $22 per hour. Benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, life, disability, telehealth, and prescription drug discounts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of administrative experience in construction, manufacturing, or trade subcontractor environments.
• Basic ability to navigate architectural plan sets.
• Strong mastery of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Procore or manufacturing ERP software is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational habits with attention to deadlines and multiple files.
• Confident, proactive, and professional verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, organize, and track project documentation (submittals, data sheets, RFIs, change orders).
• Coordinate with vendors and fabrication shop to order and track materials, ensuring on-schedule delivery.
• Maintain and update project timelines, aligning shop production with GC installation schedules.
• Act as primary administrative contact, ensuring timely updates between GCs, field, and internal teams.
• Assist senior PMs with tracking budgets, progress billings, and vendor invoices.
• Compile complete closeout packages including O&M manuals, warranties, and punch-list tracking.
