Job summary

H&S Loss Control Inspections, Inc is seeking inspectors to perform commercial loss control inspections on an independent contractor basis in the United States. Many assignments are per case, with typical fees ranging from $60 to $75 depending on client and complexity.

Responsibilities include scheduling, site inspections, taking photos, interviewing insureds, and submitting reports online through Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with commercial loss control inspections.
• Training such as VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive assignments electronically and review inspection requirements.
• Schedule inspection appointment with insured by phone, email or text.
• Inspect property for hazards: utilities, building systems, life safety; take 20–35 photos.
• Interview the insured for operations details and age of systems.
• Communicate status via online app and complete the report with Rapid Sketch.
