Job summary

H&S Loss Control Inspections, Inc is seeking qualified field inspectors for Insurance Loss Control in the United States. This independent contractor role pays a standard per-case fee ranging from $65 to $75, depending on customer, inspection type and complexity.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, scheduling inspections, examining properties for hazards, taking photos, interviewing insureds, and submitting reports via Loss Control 360 and Rapid Sketch online.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience providing commercial insurance loss control inspections.
• Understanding of property, general liability, and workers’ compensation lines.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable completing reports online and uploading documents.

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments electronically and reviews for inspection requirements.
• Schedules the inspection appointment with the Insured by phone, email, or text.
• Inspects the property for potential issues or hazards pertaining to utilities/building systems (heating, wiring, plumbing), common areas, maintenance, protections, and life safety, etc.
• Take 20-35 exterior/interior photos and measurements with a measuring wheel or online tools.
• Interviews the Insured for operations information and ages of building systems.
• Communicates inspection status through online application and completes the report via Loss Control 360 with Rapid Sketch.
