Job summary

H&S Loss Control Inspections, Inc. seeks qualified Field Inspectors to perform loss control inspections for commercial properties. You will receive electronic assignments, schedule appointments, inspect buildings, capture photos, interview clients, and file reports online.

This independent contractor role offers a standard per-case fee ($45–$65) depending on client and inspection type, with travel within a ~50-mile radius and detailed narrative/photo documentation expectations.

Qualifications

• Qualified to work in the USA with direct experience in commercial line inspections.
• Training such as the VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector course or equivalent.
• Ability to operate independently and complete online reporting.

Responsibilities

• Receives assignments electronically and reviews inspection requirements.
• Schedules inspection appointments by phone, email, or text.
• Inspects property for hazards in utilities/building systems and takes 20-35 photos.
• Interviews the Insured for operations information and system ages.
• Communicates inspection status through an online application.
• Completes the inspection report with Rapid Sketch and uploads electronically.
