Job summary

SouthState Bank is seeking a Loan Assistant II to oversee the timely processing and fulfillment of Commercial loans at our Dallas campus. You will manage loan documentation accuracy, coordinate with lenders and clients, and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualified candidates have 3–4 years in commercial lending documentation and a high school diploma; a bachelor’s in banking or finance is a plus. This role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in banking, finance, or lending is a plus.
• 3–4 years of experience in commercial lending documentation.
• 3–4 years of Loan Assistant I or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Track loan pipeline, maturities, and reports to ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate closings with lenders, attorneys, and clients.
• Ensure accuracy and uniformity of loan documents to minimize risk.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal lending regulations.
