Job summary

NWFCU in Herndon, VA seeks a Commercial Loan Operations Specialist to provide administrative and member service support to Business Development and Commercial Lending Officers. The role includes preparing and reviewing loan documents, disbursement of funds, and opening business and personal accounts.

On-site at our headquarters with possible remote elements, you will manage wires, appraisals, UCC filings, post-closing reviews, and file management, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Commercial/SBA Lending.
• On-site at Herndon, VA HQ with remote capability.
• Work Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
• Experience in loan documentation and closing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide member services solutions and act as liaison between departments.
• Assist coworkers with member inquiries or problems and respond promptly.
• Send wires, provide account reviews and general maintenance.
• Order appraisals, environmental, credit, flood certificates, and title reports.
• Prepare and process documentation for commercial and real estate loans.
• Coordinate with loan servicing for funding and payments.
• Review, create, file, and terminate UCC-1 and UCC-3 filings; ensure lien recordings.
• Conduct post-closing reviews, file management, and exceptions tracking.
• Review renewals within 60 days of maturity; request financial statements as required.
• Perform other related duties; adhere to NWFCU policies and BSA regulations.
