Job summary

Hills Bank and Trust Company is seeking a Commercial Loan Documentation Assistant to organize, research, and facilitate commercial loan transactions in our Hills, IA offices. You will ensure accurate lien completion and compliance while coordinating with Loan Officers and staff to prepare documentation for closings.

This role requires precision, multitasking, and knowledge of diverse commercial loan documentation, including state-specific regulations, with a focus on customer service and risk

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial banking or a community bank preferred.
• Office environment skills including computer and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Accurately build and set up loan applications in the origination system with correct entity, collateral, and terms.
• Finalize loan documents for closing.
• Coordinate with lenders and admin staff to assemble required paperwork for timely documentation.
