Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking a Commercial Loan Collateral Specialist to review and commit collateral documents, ensure lien perfection, and support Post-Closing activities within Loan Operations. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and timely processing in a high-volume environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CRE or documentation experience, with proficiency in Word/Excel and banking software. On-site work in Plano, TX is expected with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Commercial real estate experience and/or documentation experience.
• Collateral Lien Perfection Experience required.
• Technical training in computer systems, banking applications and loan documentation preferred.
• Must possess exceptional detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Must possess Word and Excel experience.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and accomplish goals in established time frame.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Image, commit and verify documents in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain knowledge of compliance requirements to review documents and create documentation exceptions.
• Maintain file inventory lists for existing loans, files moved to transfer and paid out charge-offs.
• Process Commercial Denials.
• Prepare, review, and file collateral documents for titled vehicle perfection.
• Ensure timely and accurate lien perfection per state and federal requirements.
• Coordinate with county, state or third-party agencies to complete perfection.
• Monitor recording confirmations and follow up on rejected filings.
• Maintain collateral tracking systems and electronic lien filing systems.
• Verify receipt of recorded documents and original titles.
• Monitor department inboxes and process requests as needed.
• Ensure loan adheres to Compliance and Audit standards.
• Maintain SLAs in a high-volume environment.
• Provide back-up support to Post-Closing in Loan Operations.
• Complete special projects as required.
• Comply with industry laws, regulations, and company policies.
