Sunflower Bank, N.A. is seeking a Commercial Loan Collateral Specialist in Plano, TX. You will review documentation, image and commit documents, and verify collateral files for real estate and automobile liens, ensuring compliance and timely perfection.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and independent work capability, with occasional flexible hours. You will support post-closing operations and assist in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Commercial real estate experience and/or documentation experience.
• Collateral Lien Perfection Experience required.
• Technical training in computer systems, banking applications and loan documentation preferred.
• Must possess exceptional detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Must possess Word and Excel experience.
• Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently and accomplish goals in established time frame.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Image, commit and verify documents in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain knowledge of compliance requirements to accurately review documents and create documentation exceptions.
• Maintain file inventory for loans, transfers and charge-offs.
• Process Commercial Denials.
• Prepare, review, and file collateral documents to complete perfection of titled vehicles.
• Ensure timely lien perfection per state and federal requirements.
• Coordinate with county/state/third-party agencies for perfection.
• Monitor recording confirmations and follow up on rejected filings.
• Maintain collateral tracking systems and electronic lien filing systems.
• Verify receipt of recorded documents and original titles.
• Monitor department inboxes and process requests.
• Ensure loan adheres to Compliance and Audit standards.
• Maintain SLAs in a high-volume environment.
• Back-up to other Post-Closing roles; complete special projects.
