You will develop an active prospect list, craft consultative quotes, submit applications to carriers, answer questions, and work with management to hit premium and retention targets. Licensing exams for Property & Casualty must be passed within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Desire to sell with a client-focused approach.
• Candidates must be able to sit for and pass state Property & Casualty licensing exams within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an active list of prospects using networking, cold calls, referrals, and introductions.
• Develop quotes and information addressing clients' insurance needs with a consultative, value-based approach.
• Generate new business applications for commercial programs and ensure timely submission to carriers.
• Field questions from prospects and customers about coverage options, discounts, and pricing.
• Work with management to achieve premium and retention targets for all lines of selected business.
• Assist with client service needs including policy changes, billing questions, claims inquiries, or other tasks.
