Job summary

Sovereign Insurance Group seeks an Assistant Account Manager to support commercial lines servicing and renewal activities. You will assist Account Managers by handling first‑level processing and maintaining exceptional client relationships with insureds, carriers, and third parties.

Responsibilities include renewal prep, communications with clients, endorsements, and loss-run interpretation. A team-based role with growth in a multi-state, nonprofit-style insurance group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related program or equivalent experience in the insurance industry
• Proven experience in commercial lines property & casualty account servicing preferred
• A valid resident Property & Casualty insurance license is required
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Prepare renewal submissions and remarketing materials
• Track expirations and initiate renewal processes with carriers and clients
• Prepare renewal applications via third-party platform and maintain client communications
• Manage carrier and insured communications throughout renewals
• Initiate endorsements and handle questions and problem resolution
• Interact with carriers and customers to ensure exceptional service
• Review loss runs and explain findings to insured
• Negotiate policy premiums with underwriters
• Coordinate executive summaries and renewal documents for clients
• Collaborate in a team on a defined book of business
