Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager Associate for Commercial Lines to support the account team, Producer, and assigned groups. You will handle policy administration, billing, renewals, and client inquiries, delivering accurate service and timely resolutions.

The ideal candidate holds an active P&C license, can work PT hours, and may be required to be onsite in a hybrid arrangement within a 50‑mile radius of a IOA branch.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Required active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and customer service support to the account team, Producer, and assigned group of accounts.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, evaluate coverages and pricing, prepare proposals, bind coverage, and follow up for policy issuance.
