Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities. You will handle renewals, billing, and policy analysis, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with an active P&C license and CIC designation preferred.

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active licensing; CIC designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate workload status with the account team and stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively anticipate client needs.
