Position Overview
The Commercial Lines Account Manager plays an integral role in delivering excellence in client management and retention.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Manage a high volume book of insurance business, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
2. Build positive relationships to grow client loyalty, providing excellent service, advocacy, and professional communication.
3. Handle renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies.
4. Maintain thorough understanding of market appetites, underwriting guidelines, submissions, and procedures.
5. Review applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
6. Coordinate renewal information with the department manager.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
2. Minimum of three years commercial account management experience.
3. Property & Casualty License required.
4. Valid driver’s license and insurance required.
5. Strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office.
6. Experience with Applied/Epic or similar agency management software (preferred).
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
8. Self-motivated, driven, with a sense of urgency.
9. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and handle sensitive information discreetly.
11. Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
