Commercial Lines Account Manager (Large Lines - Remote in NY only)

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of large lines insurance accounts. This role is remote and based in NY.

Responsibilities

1. Manage a designated book of large lines business, including policy renewals, coverage summaries, binders, certificates, proposals, and insurance documents.
2. Conduct consultative discussions with clients to assess their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
4. Obtain renewal quotes, process renewals, and handle cancellations or non-renewals.
5. Prepare marketing submissions for existing accounts as required.
6. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling appropriate coverages.
7. Support team and agency growth through miscellaneous tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in insurance customer service or account management, with experience in very large lines of commercial insurance.
• Active Property & Casualty License (all lines).
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, terminology, and document processing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Applied/EPIC preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Professional development commitment; college degree or industry designations preferred.

Additional Information
