Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to oversee an assigned book, retain clients, and support new business. You will coordinate day-to-day admin and customer service while resolving complex issues to avoid errors.

The role requires active P&C licensing and a track record in account management within insurance. Hybrid work is preferred with remote options for California residents.

Qualifications

• Active P&C license required.
• 3–5 years account management or 5+ years in insurance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication and multitasking.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions and negotiate coverages.
• Monitor accounts receivable and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency systems and ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor activity and ensure timely completion.
• Communicate workload status with the team.
• Deliver excellent service and anticipate client needs.
