Insurance Office Of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines in Southern California. Hybrid work is preferred with California remote eligibility; a valid P&C license is required and CIC is a plus.

You will manage an assigned book of business, support renewals, and coordinate day-to-day account activities for client satisfaction. You will lead the account management team, handle policy administration, billing, and claims analysis, and strive for error-free service while

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsabilités

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor reports and take action on delinquent accounts.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Monitor activity and suspense to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain frequent, transparent communication with the account team.
• Deliver excellent service and proactively anticipate needs.
• Stay updated on company policies and procedures.
