Job summary

Acrisure in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Account Manager who serves as the primary contact for assigned clients, handling routine policy transactions, renewals, and inquiries with accuracy and responsiveness.

You'll apply insurance principles, support sales efforts, maintain client data in Applied Systems/EPIC, and collaborate with Producers to ensure coverage aligns with client needs. A valid Property & Casualty license and solid communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty License required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to discern priority.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Mathematical skills to calculate figures such as discounts, premiums, commissions.
• Reasoning skills to solve practical problems and interpret instructions.
• Applied Systems / EPIC experience is a plus.
• Know and apply principles of insurance to everyday situations.

Responsibilities

• Service accounts and manage transactions such as quotes, endorsements, certificates, renewals, and correspondence.
• Respond to client inquiries and company requests promptly.
• Assist with insurance marketing and sales activities.
• Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
• Provide claims support as needed.
• Develop coverage strategies and plans when appropriate.
• Review new/renewal policies and endorsements for accuracy.
• Maintain client data in Applied Systems / EPIC.
• Document all activities in the agency management system.
• Keep producers informed of important activities on accounts.
• Stay current with industry trends through seminars and continuing education.
• Maintain knowledge of underwriting requirements and policy changes.
• Complete other assigned functions and backup duties.
