Job summary

bizjobz LLC seeks an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager for a fully remote role. Candidates must reside on the East Coast and hold a New York State Property and Casualty license; familiarity with the down-state NY commercial marketplace is a plus.

This position offers remote work with a focus on servicing commercial clients. You will manage the current book, market new and renewal business, prepare applications and proposals, identify exposure, and negotiate with underwriters.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 5 years insurance brokerage experience to be considered for this position.
• Experience servicing commercial clients and knowledge of commercial markets.
• Capable of multi-tasking and working multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Current NYS Property and Casualty license.
• AMS 360 Software knowledge / experience is required.

Commercial Insurance Account Manager Position Description

This is a fully and permanently remote position. Candidates can reside anywhere on the East Coast but must have a New York State Property and Casualty License and be familiar with the down-state New York commercial insurance marketplace.

Regional brokerage / insurance agency looking for an experienced commercial account manager. They provide a full range of insurance coverage and benefits programs offered by more than 30 national carriers.

Responsibilities:

• Increasing current coverage or adding new coverage to the firm’s existing book of business.


• Marketing new and renewal business


• Positive consistent interaction with clients and markets
  
• Prepare renewal and new business applications & proposals


• Identify exposure and recommend appropriate solutions


• Remarket existing business and negotiate with underwriters


• Provide day to day client service

Compensation:

• Base salary up to $90,000 – commensurate with relevant skill set and experience.
