Job summary

Talent Staffing and Recruiting seeks an experienced Commercial Lender for the Hazel Green, AL area to develop and manage a portfolio of commercial loan and deposit relationships in a community bank setting. The role focuses on owner-occupied C&I and small-business lending, with a strong emphasis on relationship-building within the Huntsville/Madison County corridor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of commercial lending or related banking experience preferred.
• Strong commercial credit analysis and underwriting skills; conservative, risk-aware credit judgment.
• Owner-occupied C&I / small-business origination experience preferred over investor CRE.
• SBA 7(a) or USDA B&I experience is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of state and federal banking regulations.
• Established relationships in the Huntsville / Madison County market.

Responsibilities

• Prepare credit memos and loan presentations in accordance with loan policy.
• Monitor loan performance, covenant compliance, and credit quality.

• Cross-sell treasury and deposit services.
• Collaborate with credit administration to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Represent the bank within local chamber, civic, and community organizations.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lender for a community bank's Hazel Green, Alabama office, serving the Huntsville / Madison County market and the surrounding north-Alabama and southern-middle-Tennessee corridor. This role focuses on developing, managing, and growing a portfolio of commercial loan and deposit relationships, with an emphasis on owner-occupied commercial real estate, C&I, and small-business lending in a relationship-based, community-focused bank.

Compensation

Base salary of approximately $80,000 at the entry level, with bonus potential of up to 20%. Experienced producers with an established client portfolio may earn total compensation of up to $150,000.
