Job summary

Goodwin Tucker is seeking a skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment. You will service restaurants, schools, hospitals, hotels and other commercial clients to ensure kitchens operate safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with gas, electrical, refrigeration or plumbing systems, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.
• Work with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels and other customers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing issues.
• Repair and maintain ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, dishwashers and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete service calls accurately.
• Communicate with customers about problems and recommended repairs.
