Job summary

Goodwin Tucker seeks a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician in Omaha to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment. Earn competitive hourly pay with up to a $6,000 sign-on bonus and enjoy an excellent benefits package.

You’ll work with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels and other commercial customers to keep their kitchens running safely and efficiently, performing maintenance, servicing ovens and refrigeration equipment,

Qualifications

• Experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.
• Work with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, and institutions to keep kitchens operating safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related equipment issues.
• Repair and maintain commercial cooking equipment.
• Service ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, and dishwashers.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment failures.
• Complete service calls accurately and professionally.
• Communicate with customers regarding problems and recommended repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures.
