Job summary

Goodwin Tucker Group is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment for restaurants, schools, and hotels. You will work on ovens, fryers, dishwashers, refrigeration, and related systems, performing preventative maintenance and accurate service calls to keep kitchens running safely.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Industry certifications are a plus; company supports training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial kitchen equipment.
• Service customers at restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels and more.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing issues.
• Repair and maintain ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, and more.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service records accurately.
• Communicate with customers about problems and repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
