Job summary

Goodwin Tucker Group is seeking a motivated Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install and maintain commercial kitchen equipment for restaurants and institutions. You’ll work directly with clients to keep kitchens running safely and efficiently.

We offer a competitive hourly rate with top pay for experienced technicians, a $6,000 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, a company vehicle and paid training. Overtime opportunities and advancement paths are available.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Industry certifications are a plus, but we’re willing to invest in the right technician.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.
• Work with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, institutions and other commercial customers to keep kitchens operating safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related equipment issues.
• Repair and maintain ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment and other foodservice gear.
• Perform preventative maintenance and service calls accurately and professionally.
• Communicate with customers regarding problems and recommended repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures.
