Job summary

Goodwin Tucker Group is seeking a Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment. This role serves restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and hotels, helping keep their kitchens safe and efficient.

Ideal candidates have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, experience with gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems, read schematics, and maintain accurate service records

Qualifications

• Previous experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• A valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related equipment issues.
• Repairing and maintaining commercial cooking equipment.
• Servicing ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment, and other foodservice equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing equipment failures and determining the best repair solution.
• Completing service calls accurately and professionally.
• Communicating with customers regarding equipment problems and recommended repairs.
• Maintaining accurate service records.
• Following all safety procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Keeping your service vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and maintained.
