Job summary

Smart Care Equipment Solutions is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment, helping thousands of customers maintain uptime.

In this role you will travel to clients, read diagrams and schematics, and respond to on-call rotations including nights and weekends. You will earn bonuses tied to efficiency and customer outcomes, with full benefits and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of technical experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record.
• Willingness to be involved with the emergency on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
• Availability for occasional overnight travel as assigned.
• Immigration sponsorship is not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to offer service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, ware washing, and other equipment.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and ability to read diagrams/schematics.
• Drive income through quarterly bonuses by meeting efficiency and productivity goals.
• Frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Work with moving mechanical parts, steam, flames, and electrical risk in damp or freezing conditions.
• Occasionally work on ladders, roofs, or other high places.
