Job summary

Goodwin Tucker Group is seeking an experienced Service Technician for commercial kitchen equipment. You’ll diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of foodservice gear while serving restaurants, schools, and other facilities to keep kitchens safe and efficient.

The role emphasizes strong troubleshooting skills, customer service, and the ability to read schematics. A valid driver’s license and independent work ethic are a must.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing commercial kitchen equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration or plumbing systems a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.
• Work directly with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels and other clients.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing issues.
• Repair and maintain cooking equipment, perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete service calls accurately and professionally.
• Communicate with customers about problems and repairs.
• Maintain service records and follow safety standards.
• Keep service vehicle and tools organized and in good condition.
