Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a broad range of foodservice equipment for restaurants, schools, hotels, and healthcare facilities.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing issues, service ovens and dishwashers, and perform preventative maintenance while keeping customers informed and equipment running safely.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates will have previous experience repairing commercial kitchen or foodservice equipment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigeration, or plumbing systems is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a service schedule.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
• Industry certifications are a plus, but we’re willing to invest in the right technician.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, install, and maintain a wide range of commercial foodservice equipment.
• Work directly with restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, hotels, institutions, and other commercial customers.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, gas, refrigeration, and plumbing-related equipment issues.
• Repair and maintain ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, ranges, dishwashers, refrigeration equipment, and other equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment failures.
