The role requires a 3+ year track record in small/mid commercial insurance, a P&C license, and strong Excel/Office skills. On-site collaboration and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of insurance industry experience, with a focus on small/mid commercial account placements.
• Current Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required.
• Professional designations such as CRM, CISR, CIC, AAI, ARM, or CPCU preferred, or actively pursued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain timelines and processes during new business and renewal for small commercial accounts, including exposure analysis and proposal presentation.
• Develop market strategies and evaluate where to market based on risk and line of coverage.
• Exercise independent judgment in placing accounts with alternative carriers while balancing client needs and market conditions.
• Collaborate with Client Advisors and Account Service Team to discuss marketing strategy and placement outcomes.
• Review policies and contracts and recommend improvements.
• Prepare submissions for new business and renewals, including ACORD applications and exposure schedules.
