Job summary

Farmers Insurance District 04 is expanding its Business Insurance Agent (BIA) initiative in Texas. This role lets you build and own a book of business while collaborating with multiple agency offices to deliver commercial insurance expertise.

You will quote and bind policies, identify commercial opportunities, and train staff as the initiative scales across districts, with commission splits and district-level support.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Property & Casualty license required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
• Proven ability to influence sales within a team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Quote and issue Business Insurance policies via BIE.
• Serve as the go-to commercial insurance expert across multiple offices.
• Partner with agents to identify opportunities and support sales.
• Split commissions with participating agents as agreed.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and underwriting integrity.
• Stay current on product offerings, eligibility guidelines, and market trends.
• Recruit, interview, and train team members as growth occurs.
• Assist with onboarding of agency staff on business insurance best practices.
