The Juris Agency is seeking a Business Insurance Agent (BIA) in Wheaton, IL, to participate in Farmers proprietary BIA Program. The role focuses on delivering tailored commercial insurance solutions to small and mid-sized businesses while growing a personal book of business with support from partner agencies.

Ideal candidates possess an active Property & Casualty license, strong sales skills, and a willingness to train within program timelines to build a high-performing insurance practice.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license is required.
• Ability to obtain appointment under Farmers guidelines.
• Willingness to complete required Business Insurance Agent training within designated timelines.
• Strong sales aptitude and relationship-building skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort working toward performance targets.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, quote, and bind commercial insurance products, including BOP, Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, and Commercial Umbrella.
• Build and manage a personal book of commercial insurance clients.
• Collaborate with Farmers agency owners to support opportunities within their agencies.
• Develop relationships with business owners across multiple industries.

Business Development & Sales

• Prospect, quote, and bind commercial insurance products, including:
• Businessowners Policies (BOP)
• Commercial Auto
• Workers’ Compensation
• Commercial Umbrella
• Build and manage a personal book of commercial insurance clients
• Collaborate with Farmers® agency owners to support business insurance opportunities within their agencies
